Yep That’s Me
The Fakest Smile Ever
This picture was taken on my middle daughter’s prom night. That smile was so fake it’s not even funny.
This picture was sent to me by my daughter’s boyfriend’s mom. LOL say that 3 times fast. Anyway when I opened it up and looked at it and I burst into tears. I spent most the night bawling. And if you know me at all I’m not a cry baby.
I couldn’t believe that was me. I was overweight, my hair a frightful mess and I could see the dead look in my eyes if I zoomed in. That was the exact moment I realized who in the hell am I? This is not me!
I Had Been Searching For Myself & Failing
As a little girl being a mom was never something I talked about. I always assumed at some point I would have children, have a family and I looked forward to it. But it was not on my dream board for sure.
I suffered from PCOS and having a family was supposed to be super difficult. And for years it was, lol, but then that man in the picture came along and all that changed. I was in the middle of building my acting and writing career in the entertainment industry. All of a sudden I began to feel terrible every day. Long story short I found out I was pregnant. I had been told for years this was probably not possible.
My whole life changed that day and I went from worrying about me to worrying about my family. I hadn’t realized how day after day and year after year I just slowly lost who I was.
Fast forward 10 years. I grew up as an only child to a very sick mom and when she passed away any bit of myself that I had left passed on with her. 5 years later I woke up and realized I had not only missed out on my kids lives while being so depressed I couldn’t get up off my couch but I had lost my life right along with my mom.
I was lost, depressed, overweight, losing my hair and no longer a even a speck of the person I had been was with me even more. This began my search for myself again and it took me almost 7 years to really find my purpose again.
I Am Butterfly Bound Was Born
After about 7 years of trying a million things to make myself happy I found an amazing uplifting company and began to build a life I could have never imagined. I promised myself that my mission would be to help other women who had lost themselves along the way become inspired and find themselves too by helping them get healthier and build financial freedom. So, here I am now inspiring and helping women by helping them create brands, learn attraction marketing, and social media strategies.
